2020 was going to be her year! She was turning 30 in February and had made a plan to celebrate all year long. Each month after her birthday she will travel to a different destination. The goal: making this year the most memorable one of her life.

Apparently, everything was going according to plan. In March, she managed to take her first trip. The destination: Niagara Falls. A majestic place she always dream of visiting. 

What she didn’t know was that this was going to be the first and last stop of her adventure. While she was there, COVID-19 started spreading fast and furious in the US and she was forced to stay home at her return. Today, two months later, and socially isolated, she has managed to see some places.

During April, she discovered Chile by reading the beautiful poems of Pablo Neruda. In May, she time traveled to the 1930s and 1940s to Arkansas, Missouri and California with the amazing Maya Angelou. 

Although not as she imagined, she has enjoyed a different scenario every month. If we want to be bold, we could even say she has managed to unveil a totally new universe every thirty days. 

In the end, her plan is still active. She has more stories to read and a new line-up of books ready to be devoured. After all, this year will possibly be the most memorable of her life; but just for a different set of reasons.
