You know something?
The world doesn’t revolve around you.
And people are not mean to you just because.
In fact, most of the situations you tell when people are being mean, are just in your head.
At first, I believed everything you said. I had no reason to doubt.
However, days and weeks passed, and every time, I noticed more inconsistencies in your stories.
I got the chance to peel of the layers and see who you really were. And I understood the way you behave.
You make it look as everyone is against you. But, in reality, you’re the one against yourself.
You see it like that because you want to. This is just your view of the world, which by the way is very dark.
Not every action from others is focused on you. Not everyone wants to hurt you. Not everyone is thinking about you all the time.
Usually, people just do stuff, and if they hurt you, 90% of the time is not intentional.
Life, in general, is hard. And we must learn to deal with it.
All of us have different mechanisms, and we try many options.
We all have our own demons to fight.
And we want the same thing as you: enjoy life and be happy.
My only piece of advice, if you ever want to take it, is divided in three main premises:
First, don’t stop doing things because you’re afraid. Do them and carry fear as your co-pilot. As weird as it sounds, it will help you sharpen your judgement.
Second, focus on yourself and your own actions. Don’t overthink and don’t try to figure out others according to your own beliefs. Let people surprise you.
Third, dare yourself to love and give everything you have without conditions. Is better to get your heart broken because you jumped, than standing still in the cliff looking down and seeing others live what could have been your own life.
Jump. Live. Enjoy the ride!
