Every single day after supper, he makes an expedition to the kitchen. In stealth mode, he jumps from shelf to shelf in search of crumbs. If he’s in a good run, he’ll find some meat or cheese bites on the floor.
His next stop is the master bedroom. Before approaching too close, he puts his ears to work. From the distance, he stops and listens closely. If there are noises indicating movement, he’ll return to his den. If the coast is clear, he’ll proceed to the bedroom.
It’s his lucky day!
He jumps into the bed. He loves cuddling. His favorite place is between the blankets at the feet of his companion. It is a very nice, warm, secure spot. He sleeps there until sunrise greets the day. Before his partner awakes, he rapidly disappears and goes back into hiding. At the end of the day, he’s just a tiny mouse living in a giant’s crib.
